Join us in New Orleans for our Whole Life Conference

We have an exciting schedule planned!
Saturday morning will begin at 9 am in prayer with inspiring words from New Orleans Archbishop Gregory M. Aymond followed by our lineup of speakers:
- Dr. Kathy Allen of Louisiana Black Advocates for Life who will talk about building a black culture of life.
- State Representative Katrina Jackson, author of the law that requires abortion providers to have admitting privileges with a nearby hospital and a speaker at the 2016 March for Life.
- Former State Senator and President Pro-Tempore Sharon Weston-Broome who is now a candidate for Mayor-President of Baton Rouge.
- Best-selling author and renowned international leader Sr. Helen Prejean, known for her steadfast opposition to the death penalty.
We will break at noon for lunch.
Saturday afternoon from 1 pm - 4 pm will be breakout sessions to learn more about whole life issues. Organized by Louisiana Right to Life, the presentations will cover The African-American Community and the Pro-Life Movement; Planned Parenthood: Why this is a BAD choice for New Orleans; and Post-Abortion Healing. One session will be presented by Cindy Collins, founder and advocate of SpeakHope.net, on Human Trafficking: Predatory Relationships and Forced Abortions.
Saturday evening at 5 pm there will be a reception/dinner for $40/person at Ye Old College Inn at 3000 South Carrollton Avenue.
Sunday from 9:30 am - 2 pm will be for training for DFLA volunteers on how to be more effective in building their state/local chapters. Topics include: establishing relationships with other pro-life organizations, interacting with the Democratic party, connecting with pro-life elected officials and candidates, working with the media, and state and federal compliance with regulatory law.

It is important that you let us know if you will be there so we can plan accordingly. Since this conference is too important to set a price that would exclude anyone from attending, we are not charging a registration fee, but we suggest a $20 donation.
